Mrs.Timea Kovacs Szabo is a lawyer within Cluj Bar since 2017. Graduate of the Class of 2005 of the Faculty of Law within Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, as well as graduate of the Class of 2004 of the Faculty of European Studies, major in European Studies-International Relations, since the year 2005 she worked as legal counsel, thus obtaining experience both in the public, and in the private sectors.
Her main field of activity is bank law, civil law, and labour law, commercial and corporate law.
In the year 2012, she acquiredthe quality of insolvency practitioner, thus deploying her activity mainly in the field of corporate law, insolvency law, real-estate and civil law, and therefore ensuring legal counsel in the debts recovery and forced execution procedures. Her fields of expertise in this quality mainly include the administration of insolvency procedures as case manager, the drafting and implementation of the reorganization plans, the surveillance of insolvency debtor’s debts, and the complex commercial transactions in which one of the parties are under insolvency measures.
In her 15 years of expertise in the legal field, she successfully represented the interests of some renowned clients – amongst which trade companies from various fields – both in court, and when negotiating important contracts for their activity. She specialised in legal counselling in trade field, indebts recovery procedure and in insolvency procedure, in litigates of this kind, in concluding transaction, as well as in protecting clients’ interests via administrative contentious procedures.
In civil law matter, offers counsel and representation services in the litigates concerning the conclusion, the execution and the termination of contracts, thus offering counsel regarding the negotiation and the conclusion of contracts, including services of drafting those respective contracts.
In commercial law matter, she offers counsel and representation in the matters regarding debts recovery, forced execution, plus, she specialises in the procedures that are performed at the Trade Register Office, thus offering counsel and services of drafting the necessary documents in order to register certain trade companies, the alteration that may occur during their existence, as well as concerning their conclusion.
In the field of labour lawand social security law she offers consultancy concerning the conclusion, the execution, the alteration and the termination of individual labour agreements, addendums to those respective contracts – including concerning the obligation of loyalty, confidentiality, non-competency, internal and personnel regulations and policies, Internal Regulations, layoff and disciplinary liability decisions contesting, recovery of non-awarded wage rights and allowances, including representation of employers and employees before the Court of Justice.
